BIG 10 Conference report Dec. 1

The Big Ten has had a slow start to the season. Michigan and Illinois, two teams expected to be at the top of the conference, have struggled mightily. A conference that some thought could get 8 or 9 bids, may only get 6 or 7.

Conference Best

Purdue- The Boilermakers have not only shown to be the best in the conference, but can make a legit argument for the best team in the country right now.

Trending up: Teams moving up the seed list

Purdue-The Boilermakers are solidly locked in as a 1 seed after victories over Villanova, North Carolina, and Florida St.

Iowa- The Hawkeyes got a big win at Virginia to stay undefeated and rise to the 5/6 seed line

Wisconsin- Victories over Houston and St. Mary’s have moved the Badgers up to 6/7 seed line

Bubble: Teams either in or out of the bracket

Indiana- The Hoosiers lost a chance for a nice road victory when they lost at Syracuse

Illinois- The Illini have gotten off to a slow start, but seem to be righting the ship after beating Notre Dame

Trending Down: Teams that are dropping down the seed list or out of our bracket

Michigan- The Wolverines may be the most disappointing team in the country so far, with a home loss to Seton Hall and getting blown out by Arizona and North Carolina.
