Purdue 105 Northwestern 96 – Overtime

Purdue withstands a great shooting night from Northwestern to win in overtime.

Purdue led most of the game, but Northwestern took the lead late, only to see Purdue make a run to force overtime. In overtime, Purdue executed the pick and roll to perfection to win the game.

Purdue never got comfortable because Northwestern always had the answer

Northwestern had to constantly change up defense on Zach Edey and it was tough because was able to hit from deep

Zach Edey was simply too much in the overtime for the Wildcats

Lance Jones scored 26 but also was a huge impact on defense

What it means

Purdue is definitely the top seed in the tournament. Did not play a great game tonight but found a way to win

Northwestern is a solid team and should make the tourney.
