The Big East has had a tremendous season. They are likely to receive 7 bids to the tournament far surpassing preseason expectations. Providence won the regular season championship by winning close games over and over again. Villanova had another outstanding season. The surprise team is Marquette, who in Shaka Smart’s 1st season at the helm has been more than competitive. Look for UConn and Seton Hall to make a little noise in the NCAA
