Upsets of the Week: Nov 14

Upsets are a big part of college basketball. They are also a big part of bracketology. While it is way too early to make any serious judgments on who is in and who is out, all games matter. They matter for the individual teams but also for the strength of the conference. We are already seeing some trends with certain conferences that may not bode well come selection Sunday. A loss or two is not the end of the season, there may be injuries or situations that lead to these losses. Howver, bad losses though need to be avoided as much as possible. Here is a list of the major upsets from week 1. Florida State, Rhode Island and Louisville sadly were the victims of two upsets to begin the season. All of these upsets deal with teams and conferences that are likely to receive multiple bids.
