Ohio St. 73 #2 Purdue 69

The Ohio St. Buckeyes grabbed a lead late in the 1st half and never looked back as they won the game 73-69. Bruce Thornton of the Buckeyes poured in 22 points to lead the Buckeyes, and Jamison Battle had 19 points. Zach Edey had 22 points for the Boilers, but it wasn’t enough to lead them to a win. Ohio St. will be on the road to play Minnesota next week, and Purdue will be at home to play Rutgers.
