
SEC: 2020-21 Preview

The SEC is a top heavy conference. Kentucky should be the favorite, but Tennessee is poised to push the Wildcats this season. This should be a six bid league by the end of the season.

Kentucky is replacing all five starters but has done this a lot in recent years. BJ Boston is a heralded freshman and Oliver Sarr, tranfer from Wake Forest will be keys for Kentucky. Tennessee returns four starters while looking to return to tourney form.

Alabama
These three teams all could make a push to the top of the conference. Javonte Smart and Trendon Watford return to lead the Tigers. Scottie Lewis keys the fortunes of the Gators and Alabama returns four starters but must replace point guard Kira Lewis
Teams that could be in
Ole Miss
Arkansas
South Carolina
Both Ole Miss and Arkansas hit the transfer market hard. How soon those transfers settle in will determine the direction of both programs. South Carolina usually starts slow but makes a push once conference gets started.
Long shots to be in
Texas A&M
Missouri
Rebuilding programs that are on the verge of moving into the top half of the league. These teams will win some big games this season
