Purdue outscored UCLA 16-0 on 2nd chance in the second half after losing 9-0 to UCLA in first half

UCLA shoots 48% in the loss, but had issues with turnovers early in the game

Purdue’s Trey Kaufman-Renn was dominate tonight with 29 points including 6 straight to give Purdue the lead for good in the second half.

Purdue’s Braden Smith scored 23 points and dished out 8 assists

UCLA’s Tyler Bilodeau led the Bruins with 15 points & 7 rebounds

Purdue ends a 4 game losing streak, adds a quad 1 win and stays on our 4 seed line.

UCLA loss doesn’t hurt them too much but they seeded with a bunch of teams in the 5/6/7 seed range. Likely now a top 7 seed.

Purdue hosts Rutgers on Tuesday while UCLA travels to Northwestern on Monday
