Final report
The game was very back and forth. At one point Purdue was up two touchdowns however the tables turned in the 4th quarter ending in a loss by four points. Tyrone Tracy Jr. also scored an 98 yard kickoff touchdown which was the first kickoff return touchdown since 2013. Deion Burks also had an 84 yard touchdown which gave Purdue the early lead. Erik Brooks also had a 29 yard touchdown for Fresno State. This was the first meeting between Purdue and Fresno State. This game was played with high intensity. Both teams put up a strong fight resulting in Fresno State’s victory.
