Michigan – 12/2/2019

This week’s “Team of the Week” award goes to the Michigan Wolverines. In the annual Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, Michigan began its run to the top of the AP rankings when they beat Power-5 school Iowa State in the first round. The magic started the next day, though, when Michigan beat the North Carolina Tarheels by nine points. In the championship, they asserted their dominance, blowing out a Gonzaga team that had just beat Oregon in a nail-biter. Michigan’s performance garnered them the AP #4 ranking, media attention, and most importantly, three high quality wins as we draw nearer and nearer to the conference schedules.
