BUTLER – The Bulldogs get a road win at Georgetown 69-54. This is the 2nd win in a row for Butler and another quad 1 win. They had lost three in a row previously. Body of work evaluation has Butler in a good position. Currently a 3 seed for us. Georgetown was our last team in this week, and the home loss will definitely hurt their resume.
MICHIGAN- The Wolverines end a four game skid by beating Nebraska 79-68. The win is the 1st true road win for Michigan and while it does not build their resume much, it does end the losing for now.
VIRGINIA– The Cavaliers are working their way back into the field. A huge win at home vs Florida St by the score of 61-56 is a signature win and moves Virginia either in our next bracket or very close.
VCU– Defeating the top teams in the A10 conference is a must for a team like VCU. Their resume does not stand out but they are a quality team. This win will go a long way toward at at-large berth.
RUTGERS– The Scarlet Knights keep on winning. They defeat the Purdue Boilermakers at the RAC 70-63 to add a quad 2 win to the resume. Rutgers is safely in the bracket now and all they have to do is avoid a long losing streak and they will go dancing.
AUBURN When you are a team with a great record but light resume you have to take care of business when you can. Auburn wins in OT on the road vs Ole Miss 83-82 to stay in the 5/6 seed range.
VILLANOVA – The Wildcats defeated St. John’s, a team that just moved into our bracket. They won on the road 79-59. This quad 1 win keeps Nova trending up the seed line.
TENNESSEE When your team is outside the bubble looking in you have to win games at home vs lesser competition. Tennessee failed to do so in losing at home 63-58 to Texas A&M. Tennessee is running out of time to make a run to the NCAA tournament.
FLORIDA- The Gators need to build their resume to ensure a bid. Home losses to a bubble team do not help. T=Florida loses at home to Mississippi St 78-71. Mississippi St earns a nice win to keep their hopes alive
VIRGINIA TECH– Losing on the road is normal in many conferences. However, when you are on the cut line every game matters. The Hokies loss at Miami, Fla keeps them out of our bracket
MID MAJOR GAMES

KENT STATE The Golden Flashes are one of those quality MAC teams . They improve their record to 15-6 with a 83-70 win over Toledo.
