CINCINNATI The Bearcats survive in OT at home over Memphis. This was a quad 2 win and big for their resume. Also important beating a fellow bubble team.
ARIZONA ST- The Sun Devils are making a push to get into the field. A nice road win vs a good NET ranked Stanford is just what they needed. Arizona St is in our field.
INDIANA– The Hoosiers ended a four game losing streak by beating Iowa 89-77. This is the 4th quad 1 win for the Hoosiers and keeps them a likely 10 seed and maybe 9 seed in the next bracket.
OREGON The Ducks defeat Colorado 68-60. This is a good quad 1 win and keeps Oregon in discussion for the 4 seed line.
ARIZONA– Defeats California on the road. Not a big win for the Wildcats but a loss avoidance. Arizona has to earn a few big victories to be seeded where they are ranked in the NET. A 9 ranking should be a 3/4 seed, but the resume is more of a 6/7.
USC Defeats Washington 62-56 to maintain their spot in the field. The Trojans are a likely 8/9 seed at this time.
BYU– Wins matter for the Cougars. They have a solid NET at 23 a split with St Mary’s and a nice road win at Houston. They can be anywhere from a 7/10 and are a tough team to bracket due to the no Sunday rule.
WICHITA ST The Shockers are looking to right the ship and stay in the field. A decent road win at UCF helps this cause
WINTHROP Lost to Gardner-Webb (11-14) last night 74-70. Winthrop is not an at large team, this was just a bad loss
MID MAJOR GAMES
MERRIMACK– Wins to move to 17-9 and is tied for conference lead in the Northeast conference. They are ineligible for the tourney as they transition to Division 1. They have played well though this year.
ROBERT MORRIS The other team at the top of the Northeast conference is now 15-11 and 11-2 in conference.
HOFSTRA– A team to watch. They move to 19-7 and 10-3 in the Colonial conference.
