VILLANOVA– defeats Marquette 72-71 to end a three game losing streak. Villanova needed this win to stay on the 4 seed line. They were a 3 seed on Saturday for the NCAA reveal.
BUTLER wins at home vs Xavier 66-61 to add to their resume. The Bulldogs need wins to stay in the top 4 seed lines
CREIGHTON a huge road win at Seton Hall will help move Creighton up the list. Winning 71-59 is a big quad 1 win or the Bluejays. Creighton has now won 6 of 7 including wins at Villanova and Seton Hall. Could we see Creighton on the top 4 seed line?
FLORIDA– The road win at Texas A&M improves their NET to 39 which should move them out of the first four. They are a 10/11 and got a little breathing room with the road win.
HOUSTON The Cougars have been climbing the seed list. Avoiding a road loss is important. Houston beats South Florida 62-58 to stay steady on our 7 seed line.
AUBURN Winners of seven games in a row, the Tigers are now 13th in the NET. A nice home overtime win over bubble team Alabama 95-91 always helps. Auburn is on our 3 seed line.
OHIO STATE– The Buckeyes are working hard to overcome their tough stretch of losses. A home win over a good Rutgers team 72-61 keeps Ohio State on our 7 seed line.
LOUISVILLE Lost on the road to Georgia Tech. The loss is a quad 2 loss and the Cardinal NET holds steady at 7. This is a result that just holds Louisville back from a potential 1 seed more than dropping a seed themselves.
VCU Losing at home to George Mason is a quad 3 loss. VCU had just recently fallen out of our bracket and this keeps them out. It is looking more and more likely that the Rams will need to win the conference to get in the tourney
