Game Notes

Purdue found its rhythm again and played a solid game

Coach Painter- Purdue, “What kind of player are you when shots aren’t going in”

Coach Brey- Notre Dame was concerned with Indiana’s ability to shoot. He didnt fully commit to double teaming Trayce Jackson-Davis. That is good news going forward for the Hoosiers

Shot selection- Indiana’s point guards were 4-12 from 3 and took 19 shots total. The two wing shooters in Miller Kopp and Parker Stewart were 4-7 from 3 and only took 11 shots total. Something to watch going forward

The Crossroads Classic comes to a close. Purdue’s Matt Painter was not pleased, “I am just befuddled why it’s going away.”
